Their KERS is the worst of the 4 teams that use it imo.

And what about BMW? Ferraris were at least gaining some place at the start unlike Heidfeld.

Indeed. Weird discission. Although I understand why they don't race with it. Because they have problems with KERS in Melbourne and Sepang.....They don't want to retire again due KERS

Seems some drivers are unhappy with the tyre selection for this weekend (Super-Soft & Hard).
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/74491

Also according to Lee Mckenzie, Kubica will run with KERS on Friday & Renault will have there new Diffuser installed:

This will be the first time Renault will have run the double-decker diffuser.

Unless it provides instant results, there's no way its staying on the car for the rest of the weekend. What Renault will be looking to find is an indication of where their DDD needs to be improved, because unlike the other 3 teams, Renault did not build their car with a DDD in mind.

This is what was talked about at the beginning of the season- teams using the Friday to try out new bits and pieces now that out-of-season testing is heavily restricted.

Well, Renault is the best of the non- diffuser cars

By points they are but by speed, Red Bull and BMW are surely ahead, and with Ferrari they are close.

The stategy at Renault this year sucks like hell. It looks like everyone at renault is asleep during the race. If everyone turns Wet, they choose dry again. To do a pit again 2 laps later. That's just .....

I'm probably going to be stupid and stay up for both practice sessions tonight, I want to take advantage of the BBC's coverage before they head off to a more sensible time zone when I can't watch them.

Ferrari will not use the KERS in Shanghaï becaue they don't ever understand what happen in Sepang during the practices sessions.

I might do the same, just not stay up. Set my alarm instead. As i have no school tomorrow. :D

Friday and Saturday looks like there going to be dry, but Sunday looks unsettled.

Here's a tyre question. If during a race you changed to inters, you don't have to use both kinds of slicks, but if you decided to brave it on slicks during a shower, you would?
