Souped up engine modes aren't new, that's the problem - Mercedes just have the best one by a long way.

I agree about one-lap qualifying, but I think 50% of people don't :(

they can turn pole position battle into something more interesting for TV. put both cars side by side on the longest straight and do a drag race, eliminating the losers until the last 2 fight for pole
