This reminds me that I am still very annoyed that they took out the Singapore Sling.

It is supposed to be difficult. Git gud.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

That's the problem with drivers these days. Allergic to challenge. Everything has to be made easier so they don't make mistakes.

I'd laugh so hard if they replaced the curb with a wall, saying the drivers cutting the curbs caused te crashes so you know, the only way to stop them cutting the curbs is....

Anyone else feel that Grosjean is starting to psyche himself out and is now exasperating the braking issues? Yes the braking might not be perfect but K Mag doesn't seem to have nearly half as many problems as him. Grosjean seems to be freaking himself out before he even gets to the corner.

Too challenging for some:

Perez wants Baku crash kerb changed overnight
“I think the kerb is a bit on the high side. We had a word with Charlie regarding Turn 8 [in the drivers’ briefing] and I think he’ll have a look and will try to improve it for us for tomorrow."

*Sigh*.
I wish Charlie would reply: "Thanks for complaining. Now I'm going to make the kerb even more difficult for you. Happy crashing! Mwahahaha! "

Ban Perez plz. :yuk:

What the flying f*ck. Crybabies. It's the same for everyone. Now that Rosberg and Button are gone I think we have a new leader of the pussy brigade.

Given what just happened in the F2 race, I think the corner is still good for some lolz. That outside TecPro barrier isn't getting rest any soon, I guarantee it.

But yeah, Perez is increasingly acting like a macho selfish knobhead, and Ocon getting up his ass wont help him get any better mentally.

In general, these are race drivers, don't expect any sort of coherent line of thought, they have zero principles apart from being first. They will complain about a dangerous kerb at an 80kph corner that impeded them, two weeks after benefiting from almost causing a 3-car collision at 300kph for being stubborn late-defending dicks. Button and Webber before him (amongst others like Senna,...) were no better, all those good safety words go out the window when someone is trying to pass them. Charlie should've put a wall there and called it a day, as someone already stated.

With the T8 kerb adjusted it looks like it may now be a bit faster which may cause more problems than it did before.

Palmer with an impromptu BBQ.

On the plus side, the inevitable pitlane start that will result means that he is guaranteed to make it beyond turn 1.

Alonso is now upto a 40 place grid penalty, Vandoorne a 30 place penalty :tumble:

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.ph ... id-penalty

Quote:
As well as the ICE change (his fifth of the season), Alonso will get a new MGU-K, MGU-H and turbocharger - all of which adds a further 25-grid place penalty on top of his original 15 places.

Alonso's team-mate Stoffel Vandoorne will have a 30-place penalty, as an extra MGU-H and turbocharger added a further 15 places on top of his original penalty.
