Can't agree with Alan there. Chilton had already cut the chicane and MUST have known the Williams was still somewhere close to him. 100% not Maldonado's fault. Chilton was a complete idiot for that.


Part of Alan's point was that Maldonado wouldn't have achieved anything from the outside, he would have been better trying to get to the inside as that's really the only way to overtake there. True, but given the way Chilton moves over exiting the chicane, doing that is usually an indicator to the guy behind to pass you on the straight, you give them the idea line into the next corner. We see it all the time there at Monaco, Maldonado wasn't to know Chilton was just playing boo peep with him.

same here. Perez was on the outer line in the chicane and should have picked the outer line but instead he went right for the kerb. Where was alonso suppose to go?

No where to go for Alonso in this situation,he was avoiding a collision. So the point is you can slide into someone,and force him off.

Maldonado saying "it was very dangerous. Something must be done" sounds so weird.
