5 for no retirements and not enough racing action in comparison to other races this season

Spain is disgraced by their tracks

If he wins every race left to go, he surpassses Alonso.

Such a stupid comparison. I'm pretty sure you'd have given Lewis a car as good as the 2010 and 2011 RBR's he have won a bucketload more races. Schumacher has over twice as many wins as Senna, does that make him twice as good?

Christ, the criticism of Vettel for trivial things is silly. As is such a comparison. Winning is as much down to circumstance and just how good your car is.

Vettel didn't had a good car in 2007 and 2008....

Yeh because the Mclaren in those years was a dominant as the Red Bull has been.....oh wait no it wasn't. Gosh, I know Lewis has his detractors but I have no doubt that give him a car as good as the Red Bull with a teammate so far off he'd be racking off the wins like no business, of the guys in the top cars only Massa/Webber could be questioned on that.

Vettel is driving extremely well make no bones about it and he has improved tenfold over 2010, but 2011 pecking order is akin to 2004, 2002 or 1992. The only way to beat the RBR is if they fuck up strategy or in changeable conditions and even then he had to be pressured into a mistake! The car is a stunning peice of work and like the F2002, F2004, MP4/4 and FW14b will probably go down in F1 history as one of it's best chassis unless something massive changes.

A lot of battles all around the track with 2, 3 or 4 cars on them. One of the best races of the year.

I can't even imagine what people that voted this below 8 or 7 would vote for Valencia on the previous years or any other track.

Jeez, what would you rate a race that actually had a pass for the lead?

I can see Soul Reavers point. Had this race happened two years ago, it would have been nice, probably worth of 8 points.

How ever, this year the racing has been much better, so the points have to be scaled down.

My opinion is 4 points, even though it was probably the best GP at Valencia ever. Had there been one SC period and it would have been another story. Then again, Chinese and Turkish GPs didn't need SCs.

This. I'm in two minds though, because I don't doubt Vettel's greatness as one of the best talents F1 has ever seen, particularly given his age. But just how good is he? The RB6 was utterly amazing yet he only just beat Webber and scored similarly to Alonso.

Then again, in 2011 he has dominated Webber and beat him in every single race, led him virtually every lap and been outqualified just once, when he had a KERS problem. Therefore either Vettel has really stepped up this year or Webber is having an appalling year. Without Vettel, we might be questioning which 2011 car is the best. But what would happen if you put Lewis, or more especially, Fernando in the RB7? And as for the Lewis-Sebastian comparison, well they have their advantages and their flaws. Lewis won 4 races in 2007, despite his team mate being a double world champion. If his team mate that season was Heikki, he may well have won 8. It's always going to be a difficult comparison, because the barometeres are constantly changing. You can't compare Lewis 2007 to 2011, Seb of 2010 to 2011 and the Webber of 2010 to 2011.

Pretty obvious Webber is simply slow this season, if you compare times to last year, pretty much all drivers have improved consistently over last seasons times and he has not, pointing to his inability to get to grips with the new tyres which his driving style, suited to the car has not worked out at all. vettel has obviously nailed it though, perfectly matching his style to the car and tyres. I honestly doubt many would touch him in the same car though no doubts would be closer than Webber.

I don't remember well, was he coming out of the pits or just on that part of the track because it was a busy moment?
