Yeah, but it doesn't matter anyway. He'll probably qualify 23rd or 24th |

Schumacher didn't drive better than other races, its just he had less bad luck than usual, and that he didn't have contact with other drivers, had a great top speed and his usual fantastic start. I'm a Schumi fan, so don't take this as something against him. I still think he deserves more good results like this over the past GPs but that's racing. Only IF he had little more luck things would really look different ! |

After the start crash did the cars have to go through the escape road while under the safety car? Don't think it was shown, they cut to a replay. |

Can I just say the engine RPM limit @ 18k is one of the worse decisions by the FIA. |

Yeaa that I agree with, called it BS during the race. We saw how it limits racing here. Just wait until they have the same gearing for all races... |

Most of them were on the limiter half way down the straight and topping out at 330-340 kph. |

Knowing the FIA they'd probably be more likely to get rid of Monza than remove the rev limit Rev limiter racing, IRL on ovals and F1 at Monza |

It would be nice to hear a car at 20,000 rpms again (e.g. 2006 Williams). [youtubeidiot]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HwHgEWnpfs[/youtubeidiot] |

Just came back from Monza, it was fantastic. The earth was moving at the start and the tifozi went nuts - unbelivable |

FFS, they even used long gear ratios ! *comes and drools* |

Fabs wrote: Can I just say the engine RPM limit @ 18k is one of the worse decisions by the FIA. But it is still the teams decision to not setup the car for overtaking. Even without an enforced limit I think you would still see teams running into the same problem. |

I didn't get all the fuss about Vettel probably having a difficult race because of his gear ratio and lack of top speed on the straight. I mean, if you are half a second faster in qualifying, which is quite a big gap, then who cares if his top speed is not that fast. and people should not moan about the Schumi/Hamilton fight. Schumacher showed he can still race, on the limit, and Lewis showed that he can 'wait' and doesn't overreact during the fight. I mean, we all find the Gilles/Arnoux battle great, don't we? If such thing would happen nowadays each of them would probably get a whole bunch of penalties... |

before penalties, their teams would be all over the radios. asking them to take car home. |

Just noticed that at the start, Buemi was lucky to continue as in trying to avoid Rosberg, he went went over Rosberg's rear tyre with his own rear tyre Also, I think Gaara noticed this at the time There was also another minor collision that was missed |

So that's why Trulli wasn't suddenly on Kovalainen's tail anymore. Thanks for sharing! The other two incidents I noticed, was pretty hilarious moves by Buemi and Barrichello. |
