Absurd detailing on the back of the Ferrari:

I fully expect this year's development race to kill another team.

Today's useless fact. If Haas scores a podium before a new team joins every team on the grid had at least a podium in it's history in one form or the other.

And if I'm not mistaken, if they'd take a win, each team on the grid won at least 1 GP in it's history (if we count Force India and Jordan as one for example)

Unfortunately Sauber has never won a race, so they'll have to take a win as well.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Indeed. Unless ofcourse you see Sauber and BMW Sauber as a different team but then Renault and Force India also have to take a win

Even though the name and many of the same people are there, I've never considered that victory to be Sauber's. It was BMW through and through. Same goes for Toro Rosso at the 2008 Italian GP. It was still many of the same people and same facilities, but it wasn't Minardi.

Not bad for a retiree! I saw him in an interview today and it looks like he has lost a lot of weight - kind of impressive given that he wasn't training through the whole winter.

Lewis now suspects that Ferrari have the car to beat in Melbourne, and Danny Ric has said that he hopes Williams have shown their hand already, as he suspects that Red Bull have more to come. He would know, I guess...

The McLaren is currently slower in a straight line than the Sauber.

And not much quicker through the corners either apparently.

McHonda currently 10 seconds a lap slower on ultra-softs than the Sauber on mediums. Alonso has only managed 11 laps today thus far, though.

I'm happy to be wrong about this, but I do not think Mercedes have topped the times at all in these tests without being on a softer compound than the next-fastest car.

Ferrari have clearly done an excellent job with their car, but I am starting to think that Merc have slipped up somewhere and produced a car that is too light on the tyres, and so underperforms with harder compounds. Kind of ironic, given that this is what Ferrari have had recently!

The Ferrari has some fantastic details on the car - I particularly like the coolant channels in the floor of the car. They've really thought outside the box this season and it looks like it's working so far.

Yes, I saw the report on that yesterday; they really do seem to be back on top of things for the first time in years. Also looks like they got the undercut sidepods right at last - only 25 years late!

The more that I look at the more I love the Sauber paint job. Pity there are hardly any sponsors....but wow that is a gorgeous shade of blue.

Just noticed that they have had to use the trade mark on the '25 years in F1' on the engine cover. That is just ridiculous to me.
