Lewis's win will give massive confidence to him, he's such a psychologically fragile person and that will do wonders.

Isn't it a 25 second penalty for not pitting? If so, if you leave it long enough not pitting, surely there becomes a point where it is not worthwhile pitting, due to the risk that it involves.

Lewis was flawless. Given the best sight of his life coming into turn 2 on lap 1 and never looked back. Had Alonso, Webber and his team-mate measured all weekend long.

Rosberg did well to get the upper hand on Schumacher for the first time in a while, and Sutil also deserves credit for mixing it with the Mercedes' for the whole weekend.

Giving it it Kamui, because after so many shit weekends it all came together. The strategy was a gamble but largely worked, and it only worked because he was so consistently fast compared to those around him, and suitably aggressive as ever.

The midfield battle was certainly intriguing even if the front was largely processional.
