What they can't do is just run laps behind the SC, it doesn't help anything.

Tyres cool down, water doesn't get evacuated.

Just race.

I would be very disapointed if there is a SC start. Come on is this pussy-racing or what ?

I know, but we are talking Montréal, walls are very close to the track, and if someone in the front gets it wrong we will have Spa 1998 revisited.

but I would prefer not to have a SC start though.

the first close wall is at T5
so it doesn't matter if they mess up in T1, it would be like any other track
plus there isn't a lot of speed when heading to T1 after a standing start

35km is still a long way. Like there's been 6 inches of snow where I live before and 10km away there was nothing :p

What is the performance of the rain tyres/intermediates of Pirelli? How long can they drive normally with rain/intermediate tyres?

There's NO rain on Montreal now. And It won't rain again before the start of the race.

I just looked at a radar that has showers heading straight for the city

And

Montreal drizzle predicted to continue all day, getting heavier. Bad spray in support races - high chance of safety car start in GP #BBCF1

#F1 radar update Sunday 10:27 EDT: The light rain will become much heavier over the next hour as another band sweeps through from the SW.

Ile Notre Dame is outside the city, it's next to the South Shore, so weather reports are more relevant if you look at Longueuil rather than Montréal ;)

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Webber will be crying like a little girl if the track is wet.

Hopefully they've learned from Korea last year, that despite how poor visibility the onboard cam has, the track is still drivable.

Be awesome if Lotus or Virgin got in the points. Or even HRT. Glock usually revels in these conditions.

How many guys will end up in the wall in the wet then? We had 5 crashes in the dry so far.
