Im not sure if I missed something, but why is the 2015 German GP now listed as TBA, and the race is off the Nurburgring calender.

It really is a testing ground for red bull. As a team, sure they want good results but if you succeed you'll be straight up to the big boys.

Or in the case of Kvyat, if you finish 8th a few times and make a few silly mistakes you'll be straight up to the big boys.

I thought the contract was was Schumi, who wore Schuberths from early 2000's onwards.

Rubens switched in 2002 or 2003, Felipe went from Bell to Schuberth in 2006 and Kimi had a Schuberth in 2007. Probably started as a Schumacher deal and it then expanded to the whole team. I think it all started in 2001, as Schumi used to wear Bells until 2000 at the latest.

Caterham can use its 2014 cars in 2015 to save time and money to lure potential buyers.

Well there's no significant rule changes between 2014 and 2015, so I don't see why 2014 cars cannot be used.

Yeaa, only difference is the noses and what Caterham ended up with probably fits into those regs.

Just a random question. Could anybody let me know on what image the 1994 FIA F1 review ends? Is the ceremony with Michael Schumacher receiving his trophee included or does it end just after the point ranking? :)

Massa, Kimi, Badoer, Fisi, Alonso all switched to Schuberth in their first seasons(races) at Ferrari. I think it's a Ferrari thing.

Maybe the contract ran out.

As you said Kals, I don't see why they need special dispensation. As long as they fall within the parameters of the regs it doesn't matter how old the car is. Unless there are some new crash tests that fundamentally change the chassis why do they need permission by the WMC?

It was very standard practice up until the mid 90s to use the previous years cars for the first few fly away races. Hell Ferrari even did it in the early 00's to some success, and McLaren did it for a whole year in 03!

Yeah, Ferrari's F2002 was still used up until race 4 of 2003 (which it won) and McLaren as mentioned.

Don't the teams have to nominate a chassis and it has to be used for the whole season or something?

I see there might be 21 races next year.. i dont mind. The more, the better.
But some ask why should Korea be back.
I like the track, we always had very exciting races there, specially the first and the last one..
So it would be great if it could return..
