We need F2 series for all other cars than Mercedes. The gap is ridiculous.

Nothing more than a bruised ego, hopefully. I wonder if he expected Rosberg to be further back, it's not like him to mess up in practice.

They're not changing the engines, so the pecking order will remain pretty much identical

The engines (and all that comes with it now) didn't make such a difference as it does today, since the performance margins between the manufacturers were a lot smaller back then.

Then Brawn found the double diffuser :flag:

Did McLaren say they've got the 2nd best chassis on the grid?

If you ignore Mercedes it actually might be closer to the truth than you'd expect :innocent:

Nasr had an issue

Sainz spun off, perhaps distracted by Nasr pulling off.

It is possible, so much of their pace is down to the engine. Just look at the speedtraps.

In case someone desperately wants to know, my F1 weekend /seen-on world feed ratio is still 100%. One minute before the F1 logo in FP1 you can see me picking my nose. :D

Did anyone catch the interview on Channel 4 between Karun "one of us " Chandok and Johnathon "xpert track owner" Palmer

They were discussing the new FIA pressure kerbs and what that will mean for track limits (since Palmer would know a few things about that having brought them in on most of his circuits) then Karun went full TBK member troll and just asked Palmer
"So why do we need this, why don't we just bring back grass and gravel, no-one could get an advantage then?"
And JP just swerved the question completely!
He didn't even attempt to answer, just repeated something he'd already said about pressure pads on his tracks and expecting laps to be lost in qualy from drivers pushing the limit...

Ultimate politician Johnathon Palmer but just from the question I get the impression the constant references to bringing back gravel aren't just a TBK obsession :p

Also, for the question, Karun Chandok, are you a member here?
