I'd say Playstation needs their marketing more than ever in the current console climate,which is why the UEFA Champions League keeps having Playstation ads plastered all over the place. The same goes for Sony overall if they want to have a chance at reaching the feet of Samsung and Apple.

Anything to get rid of that chrome.

looked quite interesting and innovating at first, in 2006, but the nostalgia for the West livery of previous years quickly set in.

I get the feeling this is going to be more like 2006 for McLaren - no title sponsor per se, with the other sponsors stepping up to fill the gaps until Honda gets there

actually, I wonder, did McLaren really have West as title sponsor in 2005?

I ask because the rear wing didn't carry any sponsor titles as opposed to the previous West-branded years.

Yes they did. They also had the West-logo on the sidepods in countries it was allowed.

Sony logo is black and white. McLaren website has recently become black and white.


True, but their corporate colours are still white, black and red. The logo and red is clearly still visible on sections of the site.

Yes.

In the early part of the season they still had West on the car in countries that allowed it.

Later on they changed the livery a bit (wings went from black to grey) and they put the names of the drivers on the side of the car. Montoya also had to change his freakin helmet with that change.

Even if the rest of the post was pro-hitler and pro-baby murdering you'd still get a like for the chrome part.

Tobacco advertising/sponsorship was banned in the EU around the time of the 2005 Hungarian GP and West didn't appear on the car for the rest of the season, even disappearing from the official team name from Turkey onwards

The chrome was cool to start with but they tweaked it and it became meh.

Maybe this means they'll have a new motorhome as well.

Pretty sure that's inspired on Batman.

Although Motorola = Google and Google was linked to F1 a while ago if I remember correct.
