Now for a confusing bit: Pirelli are putting their stripes in the silver tyres this weekend, instead of the yellow ones.

They've run out of gold paint.

Actually not joking, they painted the stripes on in Malaysia using paint on a spinning wheel and they've run out of gold so now they're going to the silver.

The stripes will be applied properly at the start of the European season.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Cept one was a track characteristic and the other just a silly off-field bump :(

RIP dangerous tracks.

Just read that the chinese authorities have told the teams and everyone involved, to follow a few diet tips to avoid food and liquids that may be compromised because of the nuclear disaster in Japan.

Considering that they were too stupid to only make it usable in Malaysia's one straight instead of the two, I doubt they'll make them use it on multiple places.

Common sense would tell you that in Monza they should use it on all 4 if not at least 3 of the straights, but I doubt that will happen.

Here in Shanghai, they should use it on the long straight AND the main straight, but as they've told us, that's not going to happen.

Pfft.

Question: I'm in London this weekend. What time (British) will the race start? Is that 08.00 AM?

Mike Gascoyne's having fun

Quote:
Taxi jorney from airport in china, driver totally lost and after one hour we directed him back to airport, 2 hours in now, no chance

We leave hotel for circuit in 6 hours, 50/50 if we make it to hotel before then

Driver pushing on now, just means we miss the correct exit quickly rather than slowly

Either taxi driver is constantly pressing the brake pedal, or auto transmission about to shit itself, just gets better

Trying to expand taxi drivers english vocabulary to include the word idiot

Driver slowing down to turn off motorway, sign of knowledge or total ineptitude. If we base it on past experience.............

Driver now seems very confident but have now worked out only english word he knows is 'ok' His boss sacked him 30 mins ago by phone, maybe that's the way they do incentive schemes here in china

Taxi driver now making lewis hamiltons two changes of direction look absolutly trivial. Hoping we don't get a 20 hour time penalty

More :p

"I've just seen a sign for the town I think the hotel is in and it is only 3km away, hope springs eternal, only 3 hours in. Only question is if our taxi driver has seen it or knows that is where we are going. Only 4 hours til leave for the circuit in the morning. Taxi driver has slowed right down, seems to be in fuel saving mode, bit of a worry"
