Yeah it fell down because it hangs in the fence. Someone obviously didn't tighten it in place properly.

Pit exit is really dusty...

Qualifying gonna be terrifying with 20 cars trying to find a clean lap

Imagine if we had full 26-car grid.

...I hope that's not the reason they are so reluctant to see new entries. You can always split qualifying, like 13 & 13 cars

Looks like the Ferrari engine advantage from Bahrain is gone.
Less acceleration zones here after all.

I was thinking that too but you’ll have different track conditions so how fair would that be? Or would 3 drivers from both sessions drop out?

Well, I don't think it's a huge problem in dry conditions (as it always is in the Middle East).
Obviously if it's wet, a split qualifying is unfair. But you know, they don't have to go to the track at the same time. There's plenty of time to set a lap. Old 1-hour qualifying format worked well in the 1990s even in Monaco.

Weird F1 is still going on as there’s a massive fire at aramco’s compound in Jeddah

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

It wasn't the only planned attack:

[tweet]https://twitter.com/business/status/1507375031856373767[/tweet]

On this conflict

Quote:
The coalition began a military campaign in Yemen in 2015 against the Houthis after they took over the capital and dislodged the internationally recognized government. The war has devolved into one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.

So why are we racing here and not in Russia?
It's ok because it's Yemen and no one cares.
