I always thought Spa 2008 is one of the most overrated GPs ever. Without the last laps it would've been totally forgettable. But because 3% of the distance was great, the whole race is automatically great?? Kinda like Brazil 2008.

EDIT: Again damp track dries up for F1. Story for this weekend?

Same with Djion 79, but lets not decry the good racing when it happens, it's so rare.

Even better was the onboards from Alonso and Heidfeld on the last lap, sadly I can't seem to find Nick's anywhere, but Alonso takes 2 cars between the exit of the final corner and the start finish line, tast.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind if people called Spa 2008 having "one the best F1 moments ever" rather than being "the best race ever". But I understand people only remember the good parts and forget the dull parts. And granted, races that are exciting from start to finish are extremely rare. Usually require changing conditions throughout the race.

Yeah, that's such a strange one. Wonder if he had an issue or upshifted at the wrong point.

Think he just gave it too much throttle and just didn't have any room to save it since there was another corner already coming.
