Really? Is it related to the old final chicane or just a new config?

One thing that track doesn't need any more of is chicanes

Indeed. Every lap there's a risk of going wide and running into the gravel. Although it seems these cars are so easy to control that we don't see as many mistakes like 20 years ago. There should be 11th team that had a line-up of Yudi Ide and Pastor Maldonado just to cause havoc :p
