Time to ban those T-wings. Today both Saubers lost it and Bottas again. Sooner or later one of those things are going to hit a driver at this rate.

This is a perfect case for Max Mosley 'because safety' rule fiddling, tbqh.

or maybe they're trying to loose it manually to force yellow flags and take advantage on qualifying and races

This is exactly the reason the X wings were banned in 1998 (though back then it was more an issue with them being ripped off at pit stops and hitting pit crew members)

They're now a safety concern, and you can't even argue its back of the grid Sauber that's having problems with them because of their low budget if its happening to Mercedes too

Get rid of it!

It was Haas that had to remove theirs because of how much it made the sharkfin move in Australia.

Yup, they could use a BS excuse once again but this time for the good of the sport.

Remember the talk we had about a possible return of the Turkish GP? Here's a demonstration of why it wouldn't be much different than a few others

Right.

On other topic, wasn't last year pole 1.29 something?

Fastest laps now 1.33...so...

How did he restart? He was out of the car, did the engine continue running?

Did he kept the engine on? Or can they use the hybrid system for starting the engine?

Or like Rotax 850 2-stroker?

Part of the power unit can be used as a starter motor. Kimi did the same thing in Melbourne.

Nice to see Hulkenberg back at his best.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I've always had the belief that Palmer has been a better driver than most of us on here thinks...but I think I have been living in denial. He has been pathetic so far this year.

Also how long before someone in the Hass team takes Grosjean out the back of a transport truck for a "little chat"?. Bloody hell he is still coming across as an insufferable shit on the radio.

If Sirotkin is not in the car by Barcelona then Abiteboul is even dumber than his media appearances indicate. Renault could be 5th this year but not if there's only one car in the points every race.

I think Palmer is maybe someone that needs to feel comfortable with the car/team in order to build the confidence to get the most out of himself & the car.

He's a great racer/overtaker (As he showed in GP2) & when he's where he needs to be he can be very fast but when he's off he's really off.

Palmer, like Chilton, is just someone people like to pick on because they are richies.

Palmer is far from being a world class driver. However, he's not as bad as some like to make it seem so. He won the GP2 tittle on merit and, to me, was always better than that paydriver called Nasr (good for F1 that he's out)

I heard Palmer wasn't bad compared to Magnussen. Yes, this year he has been dreadful and if that continues he must go, but it's harsh to paint him as one of the worst drivers to have ever driven in F1.

Curiously, Renault and Red Bull seems better at this place but I wonder how can that be because that can't be due to an engine upgrade as they are all still using their first unit, aren't they?

But maybe it's just that Ferrari and Mercedes have been massively hiding their pace as the time have been very slow, so far.
