American movie made my American's starring Americans, produced by Americans, the movie will be marketed towards Americans in an attempt of building the sport in America and you think the main character will be British?

You're probably not far off with the villain being Dutch though, but I'd speculate German. Maybe Russian, since they're probably back to being the go-to villains.

From what I read, the movie is about a driver (Brad Pitt) coming back after an extended stint away from the sport. Brad Pitt is 59 years old he'll be 4 years older than the oldest F1 driver who started a race and 16 years older than any driver in the modern age (Mansell and Alonso are/were what 42?)

Yeah, Jean Alesi is 6 months younger(!) than Pitt. Could you see Alesi try to get back to F1? Me neither.

I think Brad Pitt's one line idea will be

We're going to remake Driven, but not make it shit.

If they don't make the villain a homosexual Frenchman sponsored by bottled water, they don't know their audience.

funny that his accent is less british as time goes by, plus he stays more in the US than in the UK. If you don't count the fact he was born in Stevenage you can pratically say he's an american

Demolition Man falls into the "so bad it's good" category, along with Judge Dredd (not the remake), Cliffhanger and Cobra (I went through a Stallone phase recently).

Driven is in with Rocky V as "beyond bad"

the portuguese dub version of Cobra is pure gold, turned an average movie into an instant classic

one movie that everyone talked about and I couldn't even start watching is the expendables
