Those cars from 2014 to 2016 can die in a fire that burns for the whole year.

Racing quality is all that matters, and those cars (though I'd say that "era" started in 2009 with the reduction in df and began properly in 2010 with the banning of refueling) were a hell of a lot more fun to watch than the 2017 rule change that added all that downforce and made the races more processional

They only really looked their worst in 2014, things had largely corrected themselves by 2015 though

Welp, the 14-16 era was ok in my book. But I just loved the next one so much more. I like a challenge to overtake. And also Ferrari vs Mercedes was much, much better for me than Hamilton vs Rosberg.

Also, I remember very well at the start of 2017. How much you were upset. In a level of 1 - very reasonable arguments, up to 10 - Total Biased Fanboy Rage TM, You were a 25! Never saw anything like that before or ever since. You were really hurt, like a cheated girlfriend, full of grief and anger or God knows what.

I still think the 2017 ruleset was a massive mistake and it was solely because how bad the racing became.
It's not rocket science, any time you remove downforce from the cars, the racing gets better, but todt was obsessed with them setting new lap records in qualifying so demanded more downforce against almost everyone's advice, and the result was the racing suffered
Your point also doesn't make any sense because Lewis still won *shrug*
You know that Sebastien Vettel 2017 world champion thing was irony? (Like David "this is my season" Coulthard ) I'm rarely serious in anything I post here, if you're not understanding it, that's your problem really...

The fact any time I post anything that is slightly against the recieved opinions on here and all I get back on here is "what do you know, fanboy" is ridiculous tbh, no wonder most of the users from the golden era are now gone and it's just the remaining few left.
Any time I say anything even slightly positive or against the common flow of opinion, it's just because I like Lewis, which is such a terrible crime on here anything must be immediately dismissed, no matter if there's any logic or truth behind it

Whatever, i'm a racing fan first, driver/team loyalist second. It takes a good few years for the dust to settle on an era before it can be fully judged, and this era will be seen as one of the most dominant F1 has ever had, whereas the 2014-16 era is already seen as pretty good because we had a title battle between teammates and the rest of the field could fight hard for 3rd on track

This place is just full of hatred way too much, I honestly don't know anything positive anyone says on here any more.
I don't even know what drivers/teams most people like, but I definitely can tell you everything that everyone hates in great detail
F1 is shit, Red Bull are wankers, Mercedes are bastards, Mclaren are deluding themselves, Ferarri are hahah, typical Ferrari, Aston is just Stroll's money, F1 itself is appaling, Liberty are ruining the sport, FIA are arrogantly making everything worse deliberetly...etc etc

It's not a crime to be positive occasionally :whistling:

Everything has been crap since we lost the sound of V8s in 2013.

EDIT: Omg, it's impossible to find clips from 2013 without either commentary or music. Guess I have to fix it:

Nah, things went to craps once they forced 1 cylinder setup. The mix of V12s, V10s and V8s was the best.

Well, the racing is gonna be shitty, and the biggest c**t on the grid is gonna win every race…so it’s nice that this Horner drama is around to provide some sort of F1 excitement.

The person made question not to bcc anyone just to make sure everyone knows F1 top dogs have been informed.

And it would be interesting to know who would be that motivated to screw Horner like that.

That's how Nigel Stepney should had proceeded

Speaking of which, Dorna mentioned they are available to sale and Liberty could be a potential buyer so motogp could be ruined under the same umbrella

Wow. This is a pretty big twist. If any of this is verifiable, Red Bull's investigation could become as big a story as whatever happened in the first place.

Smells like a 4chan troll campaign for me. It's so easy to fake even realistic photos and audio nowadays, let alone screenshots from Whataspp.

The one 'evidence' picture that's doing the rounds is pretty easy to make, but we have no idea the size of the whole Google drive. That would take a whole lot more effort so someone must really have it in for Horner real or not.

Could this be the first F1 related deepfake defamation campaign ever?

If this so called "evidence" always existed, why not leak it before the investigation was completed?

or perhaps some sort of blackmail, they made this investigation to claim they did something and the blackmailers weren't convinced and shit hit the fan
