I don't believe that about the tyfoon. Sometimes the weather is tricky on Friday and Saturday, but come Sunday it is always dry. This year will be no exception.

According to a very good friend of mine, who lives in Japan, there's currently a 40% chance of rain for Sunday, but still very early to predict anything. By the way, the Japanese GP thread will be oppened soon, I already prepared a lot of stuff and I'm just finishing it to post. I hope you guys will like it.

And here we go! I have placed all the historical information in the "spoilers" to keep the thread cleaner. I hope you all enjoy the texts.

With the amount of flip flopping and bullshit from McLaren regarding their drivers for next year, it is hardly surprising that Mags has gotten to this stage. The way they have gone about it, they have been slapping their drivers in the face every time they state they they are looking for the best drivers available.

How would you feel and react if the team says that you are great, and then in the next breath say they are holding out for the best drivers, whilst not confirming you for next year?

Next year Alonso and Vandoorne in McLaren! So they can ruin his career as well

Well how much careers has McLaren ruined then? It's not very classy how they're handling their current drivers, but what else can they do when Honda is putting on the pressure and whilst they still have a chance to sign Alonso? If this happens I believe it will be Magnussen who will be alongside him, so no ruined career there.

Perez last year wasn't classy either but Whitmarsh, the gentleman that he is, made quite an effort to place him at FI where he is now. So for him as well, no ruined career.

If we go back a bit further we've got JPM. I can't exactly recall what happened back then but I believe it was JPM himself who decided that midfield racing wasn't a lot of fun.

Back to today, here's Honda's V6:

Simona's management is having contractual issues with Sauber which is hindering her chances of doing more F1 running:

When they where in North America he made a deal with Ganassi for the next year since he didn't enjoyed F1 anymore. But he was still committed for the 2006 season, but Mclaren decided to dump him since Ron Dennis wasn't happy with the way (without his knowing) Montoya handled it.

Which is ironic considering how Dennis signed Alonso from Renault. Double standards much?

I guess so. And how informed was Dennis about Kimi's departure to Ferrari? Of course the rumours were there, but wasn't that contract signed before Dennis knew it as well?

Thanks Fish88 for the further info.

Caterham's dead, the Leafield facilities are in the possession of the bailiffs.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

The curse of Leafield strikes a third victim.

From Caterham's twitter:

Quote:
Caterham F1 Team statement

2 October 2014

There have been unfounded and unsubstantiated rumours concerning actions against 1MRT, the entrant and owner of CaterhamF1.

An action was threatened yesterday against a supplier company to 1MRT. This company is not owned by 1MRT and it has no influence over the entry of CaterhamF1 or the entrant.

Also contrary to uncontrolled rumours, all operations are currently in place at Leafield and the race team is doing its preparation in Japan.

Was looking iffy as there wasn't anything official stating it had taken place. Really doesn't help their staff to have to put up with such rumours, especially those currently in Japan.

"Parts due for Japan" even though those parts are already in Japan. That makes sense.

Reckon they'll take £20 for the simulator?
