Racing has been great this year with the more durable tyres & I'd actually rather they stick with those.

I hated it the past few years when tyres were the talking point of every weekend with at times silly levels of degredation.

I thought the racing was usually better when tyres degraded more quickly resulting in different strategies and usually more overtaking.

I don't know, I just never enjoyed those races where the tyres & strategy were the main talking point especially where you had everyone been told to save tyres all day & where the racing/overtaking was uncompetitive between cars on different strategies.

Since 2011 I'd been slowly losing interest in F1, Just didn't enjoy what the tyres & DRS were doing to the racing. This year with both those factors been less of an issue (Except for today) i've been enjoying F1 again.
The racing is close, competitive & the overtaking has been exciting & I've been loving it.

Tyres were degrading but I didn't hear anything about tyre saving tbh.

Whiting: "We need more excitement in F1! I know, double points and standing restarts. Wait, what? A car in a dangerous position at the end of the race! No, don't send out the SC for a guaranteed exciting finish, we don't want that!"

Fuck U Whiting!
