I don't remember saying ALONSOOOO SUXXXXX, rather making an observation based on history of two drivers who've lost championships in final round deciders. :p

Ok, peps lets look at who has REALLY choked at closing out the title. Hamilton/Alonso/McLaren in 2007 obviously. Irvine in Japan 1999 I would consider a choke. I would also label Williams in general in 1995 they clearly had the faster car. Oh and Kals discussion kick off, Mansell in 1987.

There's a difference between choking and being shit. Choking is Will Power. Get to the final race, the heat is on and you stuff it in the wall. Williams 1995 was typical Damon frankly. He had the best car (but the pit stops were horrific), he got consistently out driven by a rookie team mate, and he made too many mistakes. That's not really choking, that's just being crap lol.

Kals's trouble is he's spent too long in America and has lost the fine British art of conveying sarcasm or humour

Interesting Note....

Vettel race engineer, Guillaume 'Rocky' Rocquelin, has won a total of four drivers titles in Champ Car and F1. One with De Matta and three with Vettel. Was also the race engineer for Scott Dixon first win at Nazareth in 2001 with PacWest.

The question with the Ferrari rumour for me was not whether Fernando allowed it, but why on earth Vettel would want to leave Red Bull? At least now ... in a few years and with (at the rate he's going, and the shiny-scalped genius on board) a few more titles under his belt, why not seek a new challenge at the most famous name in the sport, but I don't see why you'd turn down almost certain success at a team that loves you for a great name that can't work their own wind tunnel properly.

A lot of drivers say that Ferrari is the one team that they all want to drive for, regardless of how they are performing.

I don't understand it myself, I've never seen anything particularly special about Ferrari, certainly nothing that would mean that they choose Ferrari over a better team.

Obviously for Italians it would make a difference, but for non-Italians I don't get it.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Because Ferrari has more fans and history than any other team in the championship combined. Add some industrial sized italian passion to it and it's understandable.
