Got my Turkey tickets today! Woop!!

Hello, I'd like to go to the Nurburgring f1 event, especially to take pictures.

What is the best stand for me to take good pictures? (eg no catch fencing in the way, quite close to the track, rather a front than rear view, at least a side view, preferably an action spot).

In istanbul, weather is like an average uk day.. overcast and rain threatening.
Was on the same flight as jake humprey.. i gess even the bbc uses cheap easyjet travel!!

Just ordered tickets for the Nürburgring this year: entire weekend at turn 1. This will be my first F1 visit. Can't wait

Just got back from Turkey. Brilliant grand prix (from where I was standing anyways!). The last corner grandstand is a win, especially with DRS down into turn 12. Probably the best place to watch the grand prix from!
As for future visits, if indeed there is ever another grand prix at Turkey, it is dirt cheap but Silver Grandstand 8 is the only way to go. General admission is piss poor.. the circuit overall is very spectator unfriendly.

Me and two friends are going to make a Dutch flag with Kubica's name on it, we'll be at the turn 1 grandstand as well, the Bildstein I believe it's named? Perhaps you can spot us

I sat there back in ' 07, at T4 Fantastic place! You can see really a lot on the first grandstand. I've some videofootage somewhere of all the 8 cars spinning of overthere Great fun then

Plan is screwed, I'm writing an exam on that Friday so I can't go to the Nürburgring. I'd like to go to Spa instead. Does anybody know how much tickets are for Friday only and where I can get them online? Because on http://www.spafrancorchamps.be/spa-fran ... ickets.asp and other ticket sites they only offer weekend-long or Sunday only tickets.

I believe the only Friday-tickets you can get are Bronze tickets, which means you'll be standing somewhere on a hill in the grass without a roof over your head on the rundown after Eau Rouge to Les Combes and other places. It'll set you back 49 euros, but Friday is a busy day, so you'll get to see a lot of action

I just get my tickets for Spa, Bronze Zone, grandstands are just too expensive.

even the bronze zone is quite expensive

I found it to be good value, plenty of places to watch from all around the circuit, explore around.

I've only been to the Belgian GP so I don't know if the pit walk they did on Thursday is the norm, does anyone know if such a thing goes on at Silverstone for the British GP?

Is there already a timetable for the German GP availible? The only one I can find is from 2009.

Nope there isn't a pit walk at Silverstone unfortunately.

Frankfurt is not too far away from where I live but I'm not bothering going there if it takes place somewhere else.

I'm going to Spa this year (Saturday and Sunday), bronze tickets.
