Yeah, it's at the 'Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya', as it is now called.

I can see Korea going (as one journalist told me, they'd rather be "anally raped by a bear with a cactus for a penis" than go to Korea). It's not a great calendar because once again, the back to backs aren't very logical and there's other big gaps elsewhere.

In Korea the Caterham team will use Samsung Motors engines instead of Renault engines

It looks like were heading towards a single-fuel supplier in the future:

Oh & as expected Pirelli will continue supplying tyres for 2014.

Good calendar, no more 3 week gaps after a back to back race like this season. The only gap bigger than 2 weeks between races is the summer break. Also happy to see New Jersey and Mexico on the calendar.

smart move. It will either give them a discount on the engines or some extra cash for doing it.

Like I said many times before, there is still a lot to be won by allowing teams to run different paintjobs for their cars and also being allowed to totally switch it for one-off sponsor deals or specials.

Stop using the argument people won't know which is their favorite team then because the real fans will know and the one's that don't care enough to know the difference wont see it either if they run the same all season.

Well I had no idea Samsung was affiliated with Renault. Seems a sensible marketing decision to badge the engine under the South Korean company for the Korean GP, this is no different to Acer badging the Ferrari engines Prost used all those years back (although Samsung Motors is actually a car manufacturer).

Does anyone really want to see Rubens tooling around in a Sauber? I like him as much as the next guy, but he's had his time in F1.

I do. Better see him on the grid as driver than see him being the worst grid reporter in the history of the sport

I'd rather see someone such as Alguersuari get another chance, assuming Gutierrez gets dumped (which in itself would be a shame).

A Mexican sports paper has a picture of the proposed Hermanos Rodriguez layout - looks like a mickey mouse section through the stadium before joining halfway through Peraltada.

I really hope the New Jersey Grand Prix will take place this time because this is one race I'm really looking forward to.

Yeaa, the layout and surroundings did look rather interesting.

Absolutely:

But unfortunately I highly doubt it will happen because there is so much fuss going on there that you don't know what is actually going on there.

That layout was amazingly chosen. Hope Indycar can get a race there in a cheaper variant.

Really is there?

I live not a million miles away and I know nothing of any fuss. The only thing I've read in the recent past was in a local rag that rehashed an old interview from Niki Lauda. That was about 3-4 months ago.

I hope all 3 provisionals get confirmed. Personally, I want 22 races in F1.

Is it just me that finds less is more sometimes? I think 18 is a nice amount, if you have too many I think an individual event becomes devalued a little.

22 will be pretty tough on teams as well, both physically and financially.

Maybe more striking is that the FIA has control of the fuel supplier in the future. Not necessarily for the prestige, but for all of the sponsorship deals.

More races does not devalue Monaco, it was moving the barriers back in places that did that :p

There is no way the NJ GP is going to happen.

I've got no idea who supplies fuel to F1, or indeed pretty much any racing series.
