Was told about it by my Auntie who is currently living in Bermuda earlier this year.

They call it the Dark 'N' Stormy.

Friend of mine had the best story.

Was inside a room playing a drinking game with various combos of beer, wodka, rum and the likes. Then there is blank part in his memory. Next thing he knows he was rolling down a random hill, hitting a rock with his head (still visible). Then black again. Finally he was walking around inside a completely unknown factory before being taken away by 2 security guys who asked him how the hell he got in there (he still doesn't know). Then black again. Finally it was about 8AM when he ended up on a large road close to his apartment

So yes, acl

Or you could be like this chap, who started the night in Oldham and woke up in Paris, without knowing how he got there.

Hmmm that seems suspicious to me. He was so drunk that he remembered nothing, but was still capable of using his mobile phone to book a flight (quite a feat to use internet on a phone when plastered), check in and board a flight.

Shouldn't be too hard to type his name and account number. Even easier if he had his data stored from a previous flight booking.

Fair point, if that type of information caching is provided through Airline apps or internet browsers on phones (I'm suspicious there as I know some of the app technologies used by companies). But what about checking in and boarding a flight? Either he is the perfect drunk (doesn't look or act it) or someone from FlyBe and / or Manchester airport has acted incredibly irresponsibly.

Alcohol advertising is still very much banned in France, as far as I know. So I suppose it's indeed not going to happen.

I don't know about sports, but strong alcohol drinks are advertised everywhere in the street/subway.

Like with tobacco, it's forbidden during cultural or sports related events. See the "loi Evin".

What's this drink a German visitor to F1InPubs told us was popular in Germany: like a Shandy (Beer and Lemonade) but with coke instead of lemonade.

We christened it "The Lotus" (Black and gold) and it was...alright.

Indeed, really doesn't sound like drink. Sounds more like an Ambien blackout story to me. :p

(I don't know if zolpidem is really common outside of the States... over here Ambien has gotten a bit of a rep for crazy blackout stories.)

Dicksplaash: Sorry, Pabst Blue Ribbon is now the "hipster" brew. You'll have to get some Natural Light to explore your "white trash" side. :p
