Teams giving up on this years campaign to concentrate on the new regulations and development for 2014, to get the jump like Red Bull and Honda/Brawn (even Toyota and BMW too) got in 2008 into 2009.

I sometimes think they've just given up to try and get to RBR altogether

Didn't think McLaren could have a worse season than 2004, but there you go ...
Williams back in their 2011-style, Ferrari came up way short once again (next year they can finally blame the car if they don't win the title, can't be the driver's fault now, can it ? They're absolutely the best and charismatic and complete and perfect in every way and ...)

I've got a feeling Mr. Newey will come up with more than one surprise for 2014 ;)

Glad the season is nearly over, after the summerbreak it was the big Sebastian Vettel-show.

More excitement and close championship battles next year, please :)

Not as bad tbh. I can't understand how Alonso has been 2nd in the standings the past few seasons.

I doubt he would have done anywhere near as well in a McLaren.

Just noticed that Vettel now became the first driver to win 8 straight Formula 1 championship Grand Prix. Ascari did his feat when the championship was for Formula 2 cars. GZ Vettel.

I like it anal. :flag:

I'm realising that it's not pleasurable at all to live in an era of record-breaking legends. If the highlight of a race/season is "DRIVER ______ EQUALS SENNA/FANGIO/PROST/SCHUMACHER" then something is terribly wrong.

The best years are the ones with multiple winners, multiple WDCs, changing top teams, and those leave no historical milestone.

But Red Bull can equally be taking it easy (and for a few races before) now, and retain the same advantage they had when they/everyone else stopped pushing, until the end of the season.

The top teams will still have the advantage because they have the most money. I saw 'parts' of the RB10 in boxes way back in June so they've been ready for a long time.

As far as I'm aware, most teams have some 2014 parts on the current cars or are at least trialling modifications [such as Williams], while other teams ceased development totally [Force India stopped development at Spa, if not before].

I'm interested to see whether it really will be an engine formula or whether Mercedes/Renault/Ferrari will end up so similar that it'll be back to aerodynamic advantage.

Webber brought it. Link the drink with his drive next year.

That's why Vettel drinks it and Webber doesn't.

Man, Twitter is full of DJ's talking about their "Jaegerbombs". It's like the cool drink nowadays.

A real man drinks his Gin tonic or a Rum & Coke, not some cough syrup and terrible Red Bull.
