Think the reprimand was fair looking at that, Alonso parked in the middle of the track which forced drivers to have to take avoiding action & Webber would have had to run onto the track to get on the car.

Indeed, and portions of 201 as well. But people like to ignore the facts. I'm still not understanding how people still have doubts about Vettel.

I don't think we had cars in 201, historians feel free to correct me on that

What a great race from Vettel. Long time ago I've seen someone so superiority.

It reminded me of Mansell's drive in the 1991 Canadian Grand Prix. Seb even had time to wave to the crowd!

Vettel's downplaying reminds me of same being said on Mika Häkkinen when he won titles.

if it's only because of the car, then why has Webber not even come close to a victory yet this year?

You mean besides that one that Vettel had to disobey the team to steal from Webber?

"Besides that one"... 'one' being the most important word. Vettel's won seven.

I'd call that a boring race if my jaw didn't drop so much at his pace. There's being one with the car and then there's wearing it like a nanosuit.

Anything to try and stop Vettel. That was plain as day in Brazil last year. I love Mark, but seems he has been digging himself into a hole for the last couple of seasons. Once the constructors title is clinched I can see him taking an early gardening leave, or staying and the team wishing he were to leave quietly.

Personally I don't have a single doubt about Vettel, but I completely disagree when it is stated that he didn't have the best car. Large portions of 2012 RBR was the best car, especially from Singapore until the end. And in 2010? Not taking the reliability issues in account, that Red Bull was the best of the field. Perhaps not in Canada or Monza for example, but that's about it.

Is it really true that Webber will be penalised for this 'taxi drive'?

Are they f*cking serious?

They should appeal Webber's penalty.

The only reason he has been fined was for bringing boredom into disrepute. FIA are making the sport more and more stale.

Running over an active race track whilst ignoring the marshal's orders, and got pretty damn close to getting hit by the Mercedes on the left. Had this been a club race, the driver would've been banned for that. Webber got lucky to only get a reprimand. I imagine it wasn't more because his third reprimand triggered the grid penalty.

Look at what he accomplished with Toro Rosso in 2008. Prior to Vettel arrival, Minardi/Toro Rosso had only scored 39 points in 373 races. Vettel scored 40 points in 25 races.

It takes two to tangle, if they're going to reprimand Webber for hopping a lift, then they need to equally give the same penalty to Alonso for stopping where he did.
