So did they have to get special dispensation from the other teams to do that? It just looks so bland to me.

What a lovely shade of graphite-grey for that livery...rather dark...almost...

Well its for sure better than the chrome crap. But still not what we wanted, a nice late 80 livery

I really don't know what to say, the chrome was terrible, but this one looks like an HRT! It seems McLaren failed again...but let's see how it will look at the track!

This, and that is not a compliment.

Will be interesting to see it on track, there are just too many reflection on those studio photos.

What an ugly livery, it looks like a mix of FI and HRT.
And who the hell put that second red stripe on the nose?

Looks like I'm in the minority, but I quite like that. It's not quite black, but I've always found black/dark race cars to look good.

It's ok. I think it would look better if they went fully black and made the red stripes a bit thicker.

A bit more sponsors wouldn't hurt.

It's a bit late to offer that advice to HRT, don't you think?

The HRT looked amazing, IMO.

The new McLaren livery is still an improvement over the chrome at least.

If they replaced the black with white it'd be pretty unique and striking though...

It really suits for where they are running right now. Now Vettel just needs to run over one of them and start calling the driver one that should have the license revoked.

Noticed that HRT and McLaren resorted to filling up sponsor space by plugging their team names on the rear wings.

Something I don't understand is the situation with Santander.
They went to Ferrari with Alonso in 2010, right?
They have also been a sponsor for McLaren until 2014.
So why do they leave McLaren and stay with Ferrari in 2015?
Well, for sure they have a longer-term contract with Ferrari, but why didn't they stay with McLaren?
