Last GP at the old track, 1990. So fast.

It makes me laugh when someone talks of the 'old' Silverstone, because the circuit has been tampered with so many times there really is no 'old' Silverstone unless you count the original track used in the 50's. If the 1990 circuit is the 'old' Silverstone, then what of the version used pre-Woodcote chicane(s)?

Hungry for some crashes?

We've got Massa, so that's covered. Although even when he crashes on his own he'll find someone to blame.

Mercedes need to start giving Lewis a car that doesn't break otherwise even the most placid of people will start seeing favouritism around every corner.

After Massa crashed, Rosberg passed Krvyat while the reds were out.

Ah ok, thanks. Autosport.com just posted an article about that, Ricciardo also did the same.

They didn't show the Ricciardo incident though. Seems they're interpreting the rules in different ways again.

Looks more like the stub Axel broke to me, if they still run them, happened as he run over the curbs exiting the last turn.

Or the nut came off like you said.

This car will self destruct at the end of the session, or somewhere there abouts...

I think that not giving Rosberg a penalty is fair having seen the footage on Sky.

Kvyat pulled right over to the left & slowed down to 38kph quite abruptly. Looked like Nico thought that Danii was having a problem as he pulled up alongside him, Slowed down himself while looking over & then carried on by.

It wasn't like he just blew straght past at significant speed having seemingly done nothing to try not to.

That sounds no different to the situation that lead to Schumi's penalty at Hungary '06

As for Ricciardo, he passed Alonso just as the red came out as Alonso was already on a slow lap.

No action against Rosberg and Ricciardo.

1) clearly the stewards aren't interested in favoring Lewis while on home soil

2) common sense has prevailed (whereas it didn't at Hungary in 2006)
