Almost every race I attended was a dry one (with the exception of DTM @ Hockenheim 05). So I just hope for some sun (no stifling heat). For sure, it's better for the TV audience to have a wet race but in this case I don't wanna get that wet. Nevertheless it's always fun to watch cuz the chance of someone going off the track in front of you increases a lot

At least you know the rain might come, so fortunately you can prepare yourself for it.

I believe it was last year at Zandvoort with A1GP when I was with a mate and one small umbrella in quite a big storm. Or somewhere in March during some minor races when it was snowing!

A bit of rain won't hurt during the race, but please no rain like I endured at the last A1GP race at Zandvoort.

I would like to see Webber win i think he capaple and it will make the championship more interesting if he and vetel can build some tension there.
I also have him in my GPupdate pool and i'm near the top of the standings 35th place out of thousands.

I hope for a few showers, not for the entire day... Hopefully it's dry tommorow, have to build up my tent, don't like to do it in the rain :(

To all the guys (or woman) who are going:

Have fun!!

We can expect all drivers ready for Friday's FP

No one got injured in the traditional charity match held yesterday in Nico Rosbergs birthplace Wiesbaden

Lineup Nazionale Piloti
active F1 drivers: Felipe Massa, Giancarlo Fisichella, Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel, Sebastien Bourdais (only reserve)
retired F1 drivers: Michael Schumacher, Ivan Capelli
DTM: Maro Engel, Mike Rockenfeller
GP2: Alberto Valerio, Dani Clos, Valery Petrov, Luca di Grassi, Davide Valsecchi
FIA-GT: Christian Montanari,
others: Matteo Munari, Kristian Ghedina
ex footballers: Karl-Heinz "Charly" Körbel - German Premierleague recordholder "most matches played" - 602 league matches during 19 years for one single club - Eintracht Frankfurt

3:3 after 2x40min
Piloti goals: Dani Clos, Maro Engel (fantastic goal), Sebastian Vettel (pen)
Referee Lutz Wagner decided on a penalty shootout 3 shots each (not announced before)
Penalty shootout was lost by the pilots 0:3 - Vettel, Engel and Fisichella missed - Fisichella very much like Roberto Baggio 1994 in the WC final...

Best players: Fisico, Engel, Clos

Attendance: 5.000
saldy it was not much promoted before and Wiesbaden is a city full of seniors with no link to football or racing at all. Before in Mannheim (close to Hockenheim) it was sold out with 30.000
It wasn't the match or the price but just bad promotion and wrong stadium/city

Im getting the feeling this will be a mixed weekend. Rain in practice, dry qualifying, or the other way around will mix the field up.

Then no matter what if rain or no rain for the race will be interesting. Should be good.

Session started, first cars on the track.
Expecting mediocre weekend. Nonetheless, it will the last one before my military service which begins on Monday.
