Maybe so. We'll see in the coming days. Perhaps this along with the late arrival of the 2014 car and the 2013 season are the reasons why Dennis has assumed CEO role of the group.

If the Ferrari merchandise line for 2014 is anything to go by (http://store.ferrari.com/en/scuderia/puma/), the car looks likely to sport, next to the standard red, a lot of white with some black here and there (sadly not the other way around).

Woot Kobayashi back!!!

Sad that Giedo won't return, but the Kobayashi thing totallly compensates for that!

Great to see Kamui back because he's so popular. Marcus should do a competent job and I think that means that someone from GP2 has always progressed to F1 for the following season.

Also good to see Frijns given a chance and Rossi a proper crack at GP2.

Is it confirmed Frijns will combine it with GP2? Seems logical, but haven't seen it anywhere.

No, Frijns is not doing GP2.

Rossi is Caterham's reserve driver and lead GP2 driver. Haryanto will join him in GP2. Frijns will get some F1 outings and be reserve driver at Caterham across GP2 weekends.

GP2 will finally have some big names. Rossi, Frijns, Vandoorne, that Ferrari protégé. Could be worth watching.

Hmm that Caterham deal suddenly doesn't seem that good anymore for him. With GP2 it would have been amazing. This is just meh. I guess it was his only option.

Buxton says Caterham has a new livery that suits their amended logo.

I don't see any Yellow in the new logo.

I'm glad for the sake of Swedish motorsport that there's finally another Swede in F1, but I'm not that excited that it is Ericsson that gets the chance. I'm too old and cynical now I guess. I've never looked up to Ericsson they way I looked up to Rydell, Ekström, Wirdheim and especially Bräck. Ericsson has been underwhelming in the lower classes more often than not, but his management have played the background game well enough to get him into F1. Wirdheim and Bräck was overwhelmingly good in F3000 and IRL/CART and should have been in F1 on merit.

Ericsson's biggest merit is that he has gone all the way to F1, and only that makes way for a new era in Swedish motorsport, a new dawn that is desperately needed. Hopefully he can deliver as well and make way for Felix Rosenqvist.

I remember when Ericsson won his first Formula BMW race, and eventually the championship, back in 2007. He was touted as the next big thing - he was only 16/17 at the time. He has taken a while to get to F1 from there but he's still only 23. He's a talented guy - it's only since reaching GP2 that his stock has fallen a bit. I think he'll do fine

And the livery will be two shades of green, by the sounds - as per the new logo. Ericsson #9, Kobayashi #10
