Impeccably timed after the death of those spectators on the Jim Clark Rally last month

Oh...

No surprise that there won't be unanimous agreement on keeping the FRIC systems. The big teams did piss off the small teams quite recently.

There should be unanimous agreement on the removing the FRIC systems, in my mind.

This way it's going now the FIA can do whatever they want mid-season as long as the teams aren't unanimous against it.

I thought this was a forgone conclusion since the Formula E race can't go ahead without it, the race has already been rescheduled once to accommodate the motion, typical of "Dave" to jump onto something already in the system.

I think Formula E was looking to race around Battersea Park, not main roads. Although could this help with things like Birmingham SuperPrix returning?

That's true, but like with F1 at Valencia parts of the grounds that will form the circuit at Battersea Park are probably considered public roads, even though they are never used by traffic.

Yeah the roads are still classed as public roads, even though access to them is closed off at 10pm (ish), or it always was.

If they run the perimeter road it would be laid out similar to Thruxton.

This completely ignores the fact that no-one in their right mind goes anywhere near the park anymore.

Just a note of #F1 news. Adrian Sutil Could be leaving Sauber. Van Der Garde could replace him from Germany next weekend. #TWF1

Guess it doesn't matter who Sauber put in the car considering Sutil's not exactly making it go any faster. That being said, finishing behind Marussia in the constructors looks a real possibility

They've thrown away plenty of possible points to. The team really needs to regroup in order to get its act together.

There's a spare seat going at Caterham (Kobayashi's), so perhaps he can take his Medion money there? That's if Red Bull don't put Sainz there first.
