Hockenheim used to be something very special, narrow track, long straights that are slightly bend high speeds followed with difficult chicanes. Perhaps the racing itself was not always very good, but I didn't care.

Here's an idea...

How about reducing the cost of hosting races and passing those savings on to the race goers.

Here's another idea...

How about reducing the cost of the TV rights so the sport is more accessible to the masses and then spreading out the TV revenues more equally amongst the teams.

Here's one more idea...

How about the sport's owners not having utter disdain for the paying public, be it in person or on TV, the sport's investors like the race promoters, the TV companies and the teams and think of some ideas that protects the interest of many instead of the very few.

It is not rocket science.

Im kind of dissapointed they have ditched the tyre warmer ban. Was looking forward to seeing drivers actually have to work to get temps up which would have added some additional interest to the laps directly after pit stops.

Driving-wise I definitely prefer Hockenheim, it feels for me it has more flow. But for spectators I think that T4 at the Ring is a pretty cool place, especially for pictures, while Hockenheim can't actually offer a decent seat in my opinion.

Old Hockenheim was flat out 220 mph straights and chicanes with no wing and a twisty bit at the end. Very simple to drive, but as said above, unique. It didn't produce races that set the world on fire, but was a throwback to the old days.

With engine restrictions, Kers/DRS all around the place, and 2012's bunched up field, it would have become the European Talladega.

How I like his driver skills and how I dislike this shit. Don't do this and if you do at least grow some more mass. Which of course is not allowed in modern F1 so DON'T DO THIS.

I don't get the 'safety' argument as most other racing categories don't use tyre warmers & they seem to manage OK. It is not rocket science. what we will get is higher costs to host races and thus higher ticketprices The sport will be further put away behind a paywall and the teams will get a smaller share of the tv revenues because Tamara Ecclestone's chihuahua needs a haircut every other week and the other week Tamara needs her bottox refilled. and the disdain for the paying public will get worse.
