I like the track in India, there are some very fast corners wich i like.
But its in the middle of nowhere .. like Magny Cours

It makes me cringe seeing that as a reason to dislike a circuit. Most F1 circuits are in the middle of nowhere.

Some circuits suffer because they're not in the middle of 'nowhere'. NIMBY's moan.

Magny Cours issue wasn't that it was no where, it was that it was no where for fucking MILES. Even getting accommodation for the teams was an effort. And the routes in and out of the circuit were bollocks.

But I hated the track as a fan because it was crap before they ruined the best corner on the circuit (and another fun one), and was even worse afterwards. France deserves a GP because of its history, but they need to build a track that isn't shite first. Lets go to Dijon. It has natural tarmac run off.

Am I too crazy to suggest Le Mans, La Sarthe track? Weekend before or after the 24hours race.

Not too big to be unmanageable for the stewards (like the Ring).
Most dangerous parts are already tackled by the 24h race.

It would be a track that would stand out from the Tilke-tracks and wannabe streetcircuits.

Sadly, that was disproven this year

Well, I did say "most". And honestly, the crash was kinda a freak accident. The car suddenly went left.
In the end, every track will have its dangerous spots.

Yep, Buddh International Circuit (about an hour's drive from New Delhi on an expressway) is not really much different in that regard than classics like the Nurburgring (about an hour's drive from Cologne).

Flat farmland just isn't as scenic as picturesque mountain forests though. It also doesn't help matters when some of these new, flat-land tracks are in countries that also have lots of haze / pollution issues.

And then hit a tree. Not something that would happen at any current F1 track.

La Sarthe is basically old Hockenheimish in a way with nice long straits. It would be good to see a nice display of speed.

However, I think F1 would have to massively upgrade the barriers at La Sarthe in order for them to run there... the Armco seems rather substandard to me there. (At least, it didn't exactly hold up well to this year's sports cars after all, with too many barrier repairs etc.)

In my vision La Sarthe would get a SAFER barrier ish type system for this sort of road course. The F1 way though is to ruin courses with acres of Tarmac :p and chop the course length in half.

At any track, if the car suddenly steers to the left or right you will hit he pitwall if it happens on the starting straight.

The track is still safer than Monaco.

Which is why Monaco would be stripped off the calendar if it wasn't Monaco.

Top speed in Monaco: 260km/h
Top speed in Le Mans: +360km/h

There's a huge difference in impact forces between Monaco and La Sarthe circuits. F1 could easily hit 260km/h in various corners at Le Mans, but in Monaco there's basically two spots where they would get near that.

The armco at La Sarthe probably is good enough for F1, they weight about half the weight of GTs, so the impact forces would not break the armcos that easily, I'd guess. However, there's not enough of it at some places and catch fencing is missing.

Would be a cool venue, though, going Le Mans after Monaco and Montreal would be sweet.

Nah its just inside the border of France. You're possibly thinking of the 82 Swiss GP? 8)

Yea racing on circuits has been banned here since 1955 (to stay in the LeMans talk).

They actually voted to lift the ban in 2007 but it didn't pass the upper house of Parliament.
