It has gone by seemingly unnoticed that McLaren has just signed a sponsor. I guess this is the only way they'll get to taste champagne in 2015 - http://wtf1.co.uk/mclaren-sponsor-chandon/

I've long since felt that F1 should only go to places that actually have a heritage of motorsport and the public gets behind it. To me, when F1 visits a country it should be seen as one of the premier events of the year in that country.

Can tell you living just 45 minutes away from the Shangahi race track, you would not even know that there is a F1 race coming up/going on. There is practically ZERO advertising and promotion, and the empty grandstands reflect that.

This is Fernando Alonso going to the track.

I cant stop thinking about the whole Red Bull situation.

If they just wanted to leave the sport they would just say goodbye. If they wanted to leave "gracefully" and use the lack of engines as an excuse they started by handling the whole situation with Renault better.

I'm currently thinking of two possible scenarios.

1: They already have an engine. Own manufactured or VAG or someone else. They're just stalling to announce it so they can enter it as late as possible to get it locked in or whatever other reason they have to wait and announce it.

2: They already had a deal with VAG for 2016 who secretly had an engine up and running (they kept their software hidden so why not this as well?) but because of the current scandal they decided to not enter after all and now Red Bull are really in trouble and really don't have an engine.

For a team managing the success they had its just too hard to believe they would end up without an engine just like that.

To maintain F1's European spirit. Isn't that obvious?

looks like Carmen Jordá is keeping her F1 dreams alive because she's in Tamara's entourage
