They better make a decision on the license ASAP to give them some R&D time...

I love the last sentence: "The other potential contenders for the new team slot are believed to be former F1 team boss Colin Kolles, and Stefan GP"

MY GAWD, DON'T THESE PEOPLE EVER GO AWAY???

IMHO, they should allow them all to enter. Allow only 26 starters (I'd be able to live with 24) and make it survival of the fittest.
The teams that cannot afford it will fall sooner or later or merge with another.

Autosport have come up with another spectacular piece of bait. And I'll take the bait - it's too inconsistent and there seems to be no criteria. I don't understand how you can run with Amon, Cevert and Kubica, who it's impossible to prove would actually have won the title in the right circumstances, but then include someone like Coulthard, who failed in several very good cars, over the likes of Bellof, Brise and Pryce, who we know were talented. In particular, putting Kubica 3rd just smacks of bandwagon-jumping - he was good but he probably wasn't that good

It's also a sucker for the things we can't prove - I've no idea how good Gonzalez and Behra were and the majority of people reading it won't either, so who knows if they are deserving of those positions? Also Massa being above Montoya is hilariously stupid

Whatever, I guess it's just a meaningless list, and these lists are nearly always ridiculous

Remove Kubica, and I would agree with the top 5.

Indeed. I have to admit that I sometimes have lapse of memory, making me think that Gilles and Stirling actually do have a title. It seems counter-intuitive that they don't :p

although the #27 won't feature on a Ferrari, at least not this year, we can always hope when it comes to livery and shape model

Sauber launching on January 26
http://www.f1zone.net/news/sauber-to-re ... -26/21635/

So we have:
McLaren - January 24, 12pm
Ferrari - January 25, 2.30pm
Sauber - January 26, 4pm
Red Bull - January 28, 8.40am
Mercedes - January 28
Caterham - Janury 28

Three online launches and three pit lane launches. Gone are the days of extravagance!

Ditto. The topic of the list is already going to start a huge debate. There's been so many great drivers in F1 that would have deserved a title, but didn't ever got it for various reasons. This list is pretty pointless.

The hell is wrong with Ferrari's nose? 8O

I thought the area above the nose tip would be restricted to have any structure as in 2012 rules, which led in to the infamous vanity panels for 2013. So that red part is the new vanity panel there?

Montoya was good, but was unlucky... but he was good
But most of time he was on stewards list.. penalties, crashes...

Autosprint says it's done.

From what I can gather, Frijns's new management is trying to get a deal for him, which may end up being reserve + a GP2 ride with Caterham.

- as I've said, I believe Caterham will move forwards this year and score points. They have similar-ish resources to other midfield teams and the new regulations wipe the slate clean. Considering they have put a lot of focus into 2014, I'd be extremely disappointed if they cannot progress. However, I will add the caveat that their delay in announcing drivers is a disadvantage.

This year Caterham must improve.
