Yay, Rigon gets some F1 time!

Bit surprised they didn't give Marciello any.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Yup, this Marciello seems a big talent or at least I got this impression last year when I saw him absolutely destroy the whole field in Pau while racing together with British F3 boys.

Okay, you may argue Sainz Jr & Co aren't the most talented drivers that series ever saw but, at least, Jack Harvey seems quite good to me

Going back to Sauber, I wonder if the connection with Chelsea(Abramovitch) lead to the initial talks with these other Russians.....

, Sauber have too much know-how to not be at least on midfield even if some Russians would take over it's management, which doesn't seem to be the case for now

changes for Interlagos to 2014 race, new pit entrance, new pitlane and main straightway

I didn't liked the way the new 1st corner changed but since everybody complained the change could be better

It could have been much worse. Once all has been completed, barely anything will have changed.

Yea, I'm glad the track layout itself doesn't appear to be changing much, if at all.

Especially the current second last corner will be untouched.

Ok, so they have tightened up turn 4, probably making it another bland and boring corner, looks alot like Bahrain to me. That corner was actually one of the best corners on the circuit that caused people to make mistakes and run wide and get done by the cut back. Appears that that will now be gone. I fail to see why they needed to alter that corner even with the pit exit.

Looks like a very, very long entry to the actual pitlane?

I agree it could have been a lot worse. But the pitlane + entry + exit seems so long, it's almost 1/3 of a lap long...

at least that's all they've changed, one proposal I saw had just about every corner re-profiled to FIA specification (i.e. constant radius).

that's another thing I thought weird. the pit entrance will be after Senna S, and is quite a tight place for an entrance

Well if having a long pitlane entry means they is no requirement to carve up and massively alter the track, then I'm fine with that.

I approve of the changes. The one corner that will be altered was the least characteristic corner on the track anyway.

It's made an 'ok' corner crap, but that's fine. If that's what it takes to keep the rest of the circuit awesome, and to allow some facilities that are modern, rather than awful, so the circuit can stay on the calendar then I think that's an overall win.

They could probably move the pit building further down and have a shorter exit to allow for a longer entry if they wanted.

That corner apart from the final one is basically the only corner that causes people to make mistakes and get passed.
