I think it is best if we donut continue this discussion. This board is getting increasingly jammed up with these puns.

Hopefully McLaren will be supporting Lewis in the championship now. Jenson is 78 behind with 175 available, too much to close.

Mclaren always have some way to fuck them-self up: Pitstops, Plan B, setup. I can't see McLaren getting any championship.

Supporting Lewis?

Pull the other one, it's got bells on.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Sorry, that was a cheap shot.

You're right, that's all.

Jerome is not F1 material.

Better racing driver =/ better F1 driver and vice versa.

But that's a controversial opinion that I've always had, so I won't go down that route :p

Just for the record, of course he's not cut out for a top racing seat in F1. No problem with that. He's gotten way further than I ever expected any Belgian to get, which is why I act so fanboy-ish about him.

I know, I believe he can be an excellent driver in other categories.

Plan B

McLaren will be praying that they won't stay too long.

All in all, it was a tense weekend at McLaren. The Hamilton/Mercedes story made it a difficult weekend for the team and the relationship between their two drivers is frosty, presumably following Hamilton’s decision to post a picture of confidential team telemetry on the social networking site Twitter on the morning of the Belgian Grand Prix.

Button said he was “surprised and disappointed” by his team-mate’s actions, for which read “seriously hacked off”.

“I didn’t concentrate on it too much,” Button said on his arrival at Monza. “I thought it was important to say how I felt. It’s very easy not to say anything; also if you say something you can clear it up quicker. That was the last race. We’ve moved on from that.”

Perhaps, but the body language between the two men was palpably cool throughout the weekend, and they were not troubling to hide it, even in public arenas such as the restaurant at their hotel.

One night, sitting at adjacent tables, they did not even look at or acknowledge each other, let alone exchange a word.

Might be reading a bit much into it though. They sat in a room and didn't speak - they spent a LOT of time together throughout the entire year. It's not like they don't see each other then have a lot to catch up with.

The media have been expecting a Lewis/Button feud for years tho, when Jenson first signed they gave it until about the European season before the friendliness between them thawed into a rivalry.

It's not like they're ever going to socialise away from the track but I'm sure both drivers are professional enough to ensure it doesn't degenerate into Prost/Senna levels of tension.

Q: What’s still the best thing about being a Formula One driver?
KR: For sure not talking to the media. I am not a big fan of b*llsh*t questions.

Q: So what kind of questions are you happy to answer?
KR: Such a question doesn’t exist! (laughs)

Yeah, I'm not sure how much to read into it. It does seem a little odd, but we are talking about Benson here.
