or Nico pray for even more rain, race doesn't complete 2 thirds, half points awarded, less chance of Lewis going after him

My main problem with Nico is where he goes in wet races.....

Monaco, among others, was not the drive of a champion and nearly handed the race to Red Bull (in fact it pretty much did before RB muffed up their tyre change)

Aside from the clumsy wheel to wheel stuff, that is Nico's biggest weakness.
Lewis needs to pray to his god for rain at the next few races. Japan, Brazil, COTA, all have the possibility of rain based on past wet races there.
(If it rains at Abu Dhaubi that might prove God's existence and that he's a Lewis fan  )

I thought it had been said that at Monaco Rosberg was struggling with his car, hence why he never had the pace in those conditions?

Sure he had his fair share of issues in the wet (US last year) but the drive at Suzuka in 2014 under direct pressure from Hamilton was ever so solid.

LOLWUT :D You name a race, in which Lewis overtook Nico around the outside in the rain to show off Nico's abilities in the wet?

A driver makes a mistake exiting the last corner, gets passed in the following straight and suddenly he's worthless in the wet? Hamilton almost lost it in turn 1 the lap before the overtake or so.

I'm not saying that Rosberg is better than Hamilton (wet or dry btw), that would be a ridiculous claim and everybody agrees on that. But he isn't nowhere to be found like some comments make it seem like.

He doesn't go full Massa in the wet (He survived silverstone with 'nary a spin too :p ) but there's no doubt Lewis is better in those conditions, so as I say if there's any hope for a title battle left in 2016, it'd have to be with a couple of wet races imo

Or Rosberg has engine troubles, but as we know Lewis' god doesn't like him as much as he used to and blah blah blah congrats Nico World champion 2016 ;)

Rosberg is much better than people give him credit for. To be in with such a strong chance at this point of this season against someone like Hamilton, lucky or not, proves that he must be pretty good. Just compare him to Barrichello or Webber (and no one's doubting their talent)

Lets get this straight, I don't think Rosberg is a bad driver. I just found it amusing when you brought Suzuka 2014 as an example of Rosbergs driving in the wet. :)

I find it difficult to call Hamilton and Rosberg good or bad drivers when for the last 3 years, they have always been in the car that was so far ahead that it was impossible not to become world champion or at least 2nd.

In fairness to Rosberg, he is closer to the championship than Webber, Barrichello or Coulthard got in dominant cars.

Or perhaps Lewis isn't as AMAZING as everyone is saying.

You'd wake up to an angry mob if you posted this on the Autosport forum. Or Facebook. Or YouTube.

Or parts of TBK :innocent:

I am still convinced Alonso, Vettel and Kimi are the best in the post-Schumi era. Yes, Kimi.

Yes, and in that order. Motivated Kimi (well noted, @

!) was a match for anyone. Vettel's form seems to have dipped recently but yeah, if you look at the whole post-2006 period...

Exactly!!! Everyone's just letting their personal grieves against a driver cloud their judgment about how good he is behind the wheel!!!!!
