AMuS reporting that Stefan GP, Haas Racing and a Kolles-led outfit bid for 2015 entry
http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/form ... 84603.html

Sounds like Haas has the most credibility.

Haas as in Stewart Haas? Gene has was jailed a few years back for tax evasion. He'd fit right in in F1.

An American team is what gives Bernie a boner so that gives them another notch compared to the other two.

Loads of money, Ferrari engines, an advanced windtunnel, a team boss already lined up, and a team owner with jail time. Would be ideal in 1993. This might just work

Hahaha Stefan GP. That guy doesn't know how to quit does he? Anyone already know if his company's are real?

He was able to convince companies like Toyota and guys like Coughlan and Villeneuve, so is he really a phony or does he has some credibility?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Not sure anyone deserves to be in the same class as Vettel for the moment...

My ranking:
Class 1: Vettel
Class 2: Alonso, Hamilton, Raikkonen
Class 3: Hulkenberg, Rosberg, Button, Grosjean
Class 4: Webber, Massa, Ricciardo, ...

Hulkenberg might have the talent to move up to class 2.

I see it also in this way. On a good day, everyone in class two can step up one level, but never drop down, while it's not that obvious with class three and four.

More detail from Autosport. Haas is working with Gunther Steiner and could partly base the team out of a factory he owns in Brussels.

Ron Dennis has been appointed CEO of McLaren Group:

"My fellow shareholders have mandated me to write an exciting new chapter in the story of McLaren, beginning by improving our on-track and off-track performance."

Interesting...

They better make a decision on the license ASAP to give them some R&D time...

I hope this means the end of Whitmarsh.

Hope this isn't a hint towards their likely 2014 form. "You've not screwed up again, have you, Martin? FFS"

According to a 'senior source at McLaren', who spoke to the BBC, Dennis:

- Has tried to remove Whitmarsh more than once in the last couple of years, but couldn't get agreement from the board due to some feuds of his own
- Does not want to take back the role of team principal
- Spoke to Ross Brawn about 'the future' in December. Brawn is currently on a six month sabbatical

So, it's quite likely that we could see the Friendly Skeleton out, and Brawn in. Oh, and don't count on Alonso coming back if Dennis is anywhere nearby...

My thoughts exactly on Alonso. Everything at Ferrari will suddenly become hunky dory.

But about time that fool Whitmarsh was replaced, me thinks his mate Sam Michael will be sent to the janitors closet from whence he first came.
