Anyone else a bit disappointed by Caterham? I was expecting a little better given Valencia, but I guess we'll wait and see this afternoon.

Not that I'm vain, but have I appeared on TV yet :p It's impossible to walk through the paddock without walking past a camera :p

When I was there in 2010 I saw a reporter and standing in front of a camera pointing that I was in shot of, I think it may have been Finnish TV, but I stopped did some cheesey smile and waved, the cameraman grinned with a "you bastard" look on his face

Evenstar appeared on TV 3 times during one British Grand Prix weekend, so you probably have by now. (I haven't been able to watch any coverage yet this weekend.)

A stat for you from one of my friends who travelled yesterday. Because of time spent in traffic and lack of running the cost to him for his ticket works out at around £3 a minute. Thats good value in anyones book.

Could the race be like last year with the current weather patterns, some wet areas and some dry? I wonder if we will see any grids like the GP3 where half the cars started from the pits to change tyres.

Can I clarify something as never been to Silverstone. Do the car parks have any sort of pavement or are they just on open grass?. All photos I have seen are tractors pulling cars out of muddy fields. Might be a good idea to lay aesthetically pleasing bricking down with drainage to avoid the bog situations they have (if they don't already have paved parking)

They did build a proper car park on concrete after the problems at the 2000 event. It's pretty big, but I imagine a lot of people would still be parking in grass fields. Most of the camp sites are just on land owned by the local farmers.

Silverstone has definitely made an effort over the last decade with additional parking and new access roads. I think I was back home near Ipswich by 6pm when I last went in 2009. I did sprint to the car park as soon as the cars had crossed the finishing line though. :p We're just very unfortunate to have suffered ridiculous amounts of rainfall over the last couple of weeks (except my corner of the country that is still under a hosepipe ban!). I don't know what more Silverstone could have done, short of spendings millions on yet more parkling.

What happens if Qual can't go ahead today will they try a Suzuka 2010 and run it on race morning or go off FP3 speeds?

Back from lunch, not raining now. So many TV crews littering the paddock.
