Its like Hakkinen @ Spa, take your chances when they come. You didn't get many back in those days.

I never found the pass of Hakkinen at Spa that great.

Not that I ever want to do such a brilliant pass down but mansell was only behind berger because he spun himself out of second and any chance of catching prost for the win, so he was probably pretty angry at himself.
Luckily he made up for it ;)

Now that I think of it, the same applies to mika in spa 2000 too. Though he was also furious at micheal trying to kill him on the lap before.

Do the best passes always come as a result of a previous spin?

I still cannot see Red Bull opting for downgraded Ferrari or Mercedes engines. Nor can I see Ferrari or Mercedes supplying them same spec engines.

If Red Bull leaves Renault its either for a new entry or Honda and Mercedes/Ferrari is merely to bridge the time before the new one is ready.

The question for me is, are the mercs of williams 2nd class? If yes, that woyld also explain their reluctance to win as it seems.

Renault cannot give 2 teams manufactury support. According to that autosport artixke, renault could buy 80% of lotus for £30 million, with Lopez keeping 20%.

I hope they just do it. It would be the only life line Grosjean has. He is very hard going to be a Heidfeld, as well as Hulkenberg. Potential, but no chanxes, alrhough Grosjean has gotten more chances in f1 than anybody in the last 20 years.

I hope they keep Pastor for entertainment value.

Lotus is only worth that much? In F1 terms that's absolute peanuts for an established team if true.

I assume there's a lot of debt dragging the price down which Renault will then have to pay off.

If they're taking on 80% of the debt as well the 'value' of the purchase goes over $100 million.

Euhm, yeah. I doubt that. Let's not forget that the British anthem was played for Coulthard and Irvine, but the whole country/state thing in Britain has always confused me. They have national football things and national anthems, yet not??

Anyway, as long as it isn't completely settled, the normal Spain anthem will be played. Although, by the time the Mclaren will be fast again, it just might.

For the sake of irony, Honda will budge and supply STR with engines next season and both Verstappen and Sainz will win at least 1 race.

If Honda provided engines for every team, we might get some unexpected races.
