It's drivetrain oscillation apparently, nothing illegal.

Autosprint thinking something on the Red Bull is illegal? Never.

If anyone was using Traction control we'd be able to hear it on the on-board shot.

Besides, if they WERE using TC, why was there any rubber being laid down at all? The systems would cut the power before it ever got that far.....

Yes, go with the Autosport -logic, ban Red Bull and give the title to Ferrari already. Just like the reasonable people does.

(this is post is sarcastic against autosport, not against kals.)

The Autosport forum thread on the TC thing is hilarious. Fantasy and conspiracy (and hatred) clearly outweighs fact.

I request that this becomes the new forum tagline.

Instead of:

TBK LIGHT
Jason Plato FanClub Forum.

It should now be:

TBK LIGHT

You would give them too much credit with that though.

I only go there sometimes for the LOLZ (just reading) nothing more, way too chaotic for me.

It's not so much Atlas' userbase, it's Alonso\Hamilton\Ferrari fanboys in general who have a stick up their collective arse about Vettel\Red Bull being better than their favourite and grasping hold of anything they can to denigrate them.

Funny to read and watch, but not very constructive.

The F1 Technical forum debate on the matter is much, much better.

F1 2013 – Red Bull using banned traction control?

A report from the Italian Autosprint magazine claims that the Red Bull of Mark Webber showed signs at the Canadian Grand Prix that are consistent with the use of traction control – which is banned in Formula 1.

After looking at a picture of Mark Webber accelerating out of a corner after a collision with the Caterham of Giedo Van Der Garde Autosprint report that the markings left by the accelerating red bull of Mark Webber could be consistent with traction control.

“You immediately notice the traces on the track, those are not continuous (usually darker at the beginning and then gradually faded) of a ‘screech.’”

“It is the typical behaviour of a road car that goes ‘jerky’ with the traction control switched on,” reports Autosprint.

Someone needs to re-edit that and put a proper TC noise from 2002 or so over the top of it.

Or failing that, I dunno...a fart noise or crazy frog or something, whatever.

As an avid hater of the crazy frog I will say that he is less annoying than this whole ridiculous idea that Red Bull are illegally using TC, and I'd rather watch that 20 second crazy frog video on constant repeat than continue to engage in conversation about or have to justify how that isn't traction control.
