Honestly, this. I don't think they'd be here if it wasn't for the Aramco money. It isn't suitable for big single-seaters at all.

Last year had a big feeling of waiting for the big crash, and this year doesn't feel any different.

I would have Monaco as the sole street circuit in the calendar (not counting Melbourne and Montreal).
Instead of Jeddah, Miami and other of that ilk, I would include Nurburgring, Magny-Cours, Sepang, Portimao, Jerez and Mugello.

I don't know why they don't already have their own.

Having Wittch and Freitas in race control sure helps things be a bit more efficient.

I'm torn on this track. Watching the cars on a hot lap, inches from the wall is mesmerising. I thought the barriers would be close enough that no one would go into a wall at that bad an angle. There's a fine balance between being challenging, but also being safe enough. I wonder if we've gone from too forgiving to too dangerous here.

Steiner: "All the data got completely cut off, radio, everything"
Lazenby: "So how long until you heard from Mick? Did he get straight on the radio?"

Quality stuff as usual from Sky

Why no replays? We saw it live, what's the problem running it again to analyze it

Even the ARCA cleanup crews work faster than this.

Still. With all due respect I always see a difference with marshals from countries with a racing history and those who basically only do F1 once a year

My God that replay hurts. The whole concrete wall moved.

That wall is badly designed. It doesn't add anything to the challenge, it should not be coming back to the track like that, and it needs a SAFER. If it was parallel to the track he would have walled away from it easily

Do they have to wait for the helicopter to get back before restarting, or do they have more than one?
