the track and race might be boring but is Vegas, a place to get wasted no matter what

the race will be good only if the drivers replicate The Hangover

So apparently F1 is gonna use some AI to reduce hate and abuse online.

Expect to see a massive drop in hate and dislike of sprint races in the future. :whistling:

Not sure that'll stop all the random F1 fan pages posting rage bait headlines/articles

Imagine if social media was around after Suzuka 89/90, especially 90 :8:

How exactly? They don't control Twitter, Facebook or YouTube, but only sites they host (Formula1.com, which doesn't have a comment section). Or is that a tool that comes with an API, given you're big enough user?

So censorship of every comment that doesn´t agree with their statements, to disencourage all the "haters"?

That’s generally how it works, or use enough bots so that you artificially drown out the descenders and make it look like far more people love your product than not.

That’s how Disney and Amazon do it.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

cryptocurrency services are falling down one by one like dominoes

funny that crypto is still around, I hope that when they fall down sprints might be gone

lol, crypto isn't going anywhere. you're probably only thinking of it only in it's monetary form, but as a technology smart contracts are the future of digital business. i won't go so far as to say sprint races are the future of f1, but if the netflix crowd love it they'll be here to stay. they don't bother me too much, and they can be entertaining. my only worry is the strain on the drivers and crews

What I've wondered is if the sprint is really wet and there's a higher number than usual crashes, would the teams be able to repair their cars in time for the main race, or would we end up with something like a 14 car grid

Especially this season with the cost cap, if someone wrecks it really hard on Saturday, with the championship pretty much all signed, sealed and delivered.....will they bother repairing?

Huh, I always thought that Velas is some kind of home appliance manufacturer but not a crypto aggregator.

I'd say that on any sign of bad weather they'll drop the red as soon as they can, postpone to sunday morning and if it's still wet cancel altogether and put the results of qualifying for the race and no points for the sprint
