You can't blame Vettel. You have to blame Pirelli and the FIA for their rules.

This is what I do. I just wanted to show how pathetic that was today.

Congrats to Maldonado! What a fantastic effort. For what it's worth: my apology for my criticism last year. Ofcourse this is just one good result but I think he's a lot better than I thought.

For the last time, if Pirelli were told to make rock-hard tyres with absolutely zero performance like the Bridgestones, they could do so and have enough ready by the end of the summer break.

The teams (note the plural, Mercedes' opinion on it's own matters not one bit) do not perceive a problem.

I'm all for the tyre rules given what they provide on race day.

What year is it? Mid 1980s? Early 1990s?

On one hand I don't like the fact that drivers have to be over cautious with the tires. Save them in Q3, race carefully on sunday, that's a shame and it doesn't suit some drivers.

On the other hand, this is what we as fans have been asking for, for years. We want to have more overtaking and action on track, and that's what is happening now. This is for me the most important thing so I'm happy with Pirelli at the moment.

He drove better the last two races. Plus a mid season replacement would be expensive and would take time to learn the car and team.

I thought Maldonado's practice form showed some potential for the tail end of Q3 ... not provisional pole and ultimately a front row, on merit. He's getting warmed up for Monaco, it would seem ...

Massa should have been dumped after 2011. He's had the chance, he's not the same as he was.

But in the race it is no problem drivers stop the car immediately after the race? Kobayashi also stopped after Q2 with probably a fuel issue. And that could be planned, because Sauber would not drive at Q3.

This. After Bahrain Vettel and some other cars stopped at the end of the pitlane, to save fuel. I don't see any difference here.
