They're over concerned with safety sometimes i think. Nothing wrong with safety concerns obviously but even with a bit of rain they want to wait till it's bone dry again. It's getting to the point that they forget the sport IS dangerous they have to deal with a bit of danger, the drivers know what they signed up for.

Yesterday we had very bad conditions in GP3 race, and no major crash, nothing specioal, just few spins, just to see who can drive in the wet,and who not. Without red flags it was a great finish to the line.
Hope today for a normal start, and no red flags or SC-s.

Yep, and most drivers were driving on slicks!

Indeed, I was amazed at how well they were driving given the conditions (apart from the slow down lap where the top 3 went off  )

When was the last time that an F1 race was held in such cold conditions? We usually talk about the tyres being less grippy when it gets too hot and they are ruined within 5 laps, but in the cold its the opposite and I can't remember a cold race before.

Oh yeah, tast race.

But was it as cold as 10c? I thought it was a bit warmer than that.

Yeah I think it was a bit warmer, I just remember all the drivers complaining they couldn't get any heat into the tyres, hence all the crashes and spins.

If it rains it'll seem even colder as well, because getting heat into the tyres will be impossible. Could be a chance for Mercedes as they chew their tyres to death usually.

he shone in Canada and missed out because the track started drying... if it stays continuously wet, surely this is his best day for a potential surprise?!

looking at the radar, the clouds seems to 'dissappear',so I don't expect a really wet track, and therefore no SC start
