Muro de las campeones ... is what my Spanish TV would be saying, if they hadn't been on adverts for the past 15 minutes.

Ayrton never caught the wall of Champions, Bruno just gave one record to the name Senna today.

Clearly shows Senna's under pressure... specially after Maldonado's win. He needs to calm down and see that positions on top will come If he's relaxed and confident about the car....it looks like he wants to make the difference by himself only...If he manages to understand this, he's on the right way, If he insist on the same mistake, then I'm sorry but perhaps Bruno is not qualified for F1 racing.

To succeed in F1 you have to be calm.

Bruno is one of three drivers in current F1 grid who hasn't won any championship. So he shouldn't have hit that wall.

Whisper it for now, but this could be the first weekend where Caterham are faster on merit than one of the old teams.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Yes, because having outscored Maldonado up until Barcelona, then outscored him since clearly means Bruno is under pressure to perform. You've also nicely ignored the fact that Bruno has outperformed Maldonado in 50% of the races so far.

What utter bullshit.

Senna had an awful day, off all over the place. I think Pastor's performance has put pressure on him, so he naturally needs to respond. Bruno vs Bottas for 2013 seems to be the universal view. One good result will change everything, as ever.

That would be nice to see. They've done a far better job than the other two 'new' teams, although I don't know if they have a much bigger budget or something. I know they weren't faster in Monaco, but it was awesome/embarrassing seeing Heikki holding off Button.

Oh absolutely... because Williams will win points and F1 measures success on practice days right?

How dare an F1 driver crash in a practice session! That is singularly the worst thing that has ever happened!

Some of the old practice sessions used to be total crash fests. I remember several cars being destroyed in practice at Adelaide in 1991. And then came the race...

Indeed

The BBC Grand Prix programme showed a nice montage of all the pre-race crashes during the highlights show for that race.

Sorry, I'm not a dipshit, I know that. But totalling your car in practice never helps with confidence & preparation. Its not just the crash but he was all over the place in FP1 too. I don't think he has much of a connection with the car this weekend. I'm not calling for his head, just saying that it's a sign of a little bit of pressure showing.

Can't really remember a practice session that's been a total wreckfest, Monaco excepted.
Until recent years you'd be guaranteed 3 or 4 crashes in Monaco practice, usually Minardis/Jordans etc

These days cars are usually within their limits until the final 10 mins or so, even then with tarmac runoffs etc, huge wrecks happen about 3 or 4 times a year.

What's the biggest crash that's ever happened in a practice session?
That Mexican crash where the car hits pit wall, rolls and then lands on its side? :?
