I predict a crash from Vettel. Or maybe not since he doesn't have as much pressure on him as he did earlier in the season.

Great pole by Vettel. Great performance by Bruno Senna, what a drive.

This sunday Nelson Piquet will drive the Brabham BT49 in Interlagos, the car that gave him his first World championship in 1981. Can't wait to see that.

Senna has given people a conundrum. He's not been good enough to make you believe he should have a seat nailed on, whilst he's obviously at the same time not a complete waste of seat.

Well, people celebrated he ended up in front of Petrov and remained in top 10. We'll see....rain is expected for tomorrow and when it rains, everything can happen.

Still on Vettel's pole, honestly I'm sad Mansell's record has been broken. I know it was just a matter of time when you have Vettel driving this car. Interlagos being the last race, there was a little hope he didn't get the pole so, for someone who remembers nostalgically the "Lion" Mansell roaring sovereign with Williams car in the 1992 season, it's particularly frustrating that the record belongs to Vettel now.

The thing is that Seb could win 14 poles in the 1992 Williams, as could many other drivers. Patrese would have 10 poles if Nigel were eliminated from that year's results. The 1992 Williams is probably the most technologically advanced F1 car in history (not for it's era, as an absolute).

Could the Nigel of 1992 do the same in this year's Red Bull? Doubtful. That's not a slight on how good Nigel was, because he was quite good indeed, but Sebastien's been making it look easier than it is. I think Webber is probably a better driver too than Patrese was then.

Possible wet setups for Ferrari and McLaren?

Not just that, but you'd have 60 minutes to do it in. Fail once, get a second chance, unless you binned it of course.

This year, you have Q1, Q2 and then you have to nail it in Q3. To do that 15 times is impressive.

I still think they should do these kind of stats on percentages. Nige got 88% of poles that year, Vettel 'only' got 79% of poles this year.

Yeah that is a more relevant stat, but it doesn't take away how impressive Sebs performance this year has been.

You can't take anything away from Seb, arguably F1 is the most competitive it's ever been. To win 15/19 poles is very impressive, but, he lost out on 3 occasions, while "our" Nige lost out twice. When considering it from that prospective I don't see how it's fair to compare these two when Seb has had another 3 races to pass Nigel's pole tally in a season. If he had got 15 poles by the 15th race, then it would be an entirely different story.

If the race is dry all the way then it'll be Vettel by probably 30+ seconds

I like that picture very much.

Now if they'd stop being pussies and actually have a wet start...
