Welcome to old school tracks. Guys like Latifi have next to no experience with putting a wheel off apex and not getting away with it.

How many SC tomorrow?

Imo they could have restarted, 1.38 is plenty for an outlap.

Not enough for the whole field though. It'd just be a mess with everyone fighting to get to the front

They'd have never gotten around without a wing being left on track.

I find it nice to see drivers used to go out when they miss a braking spot getting desperate to not crash or beach out

These FIA radio snippets are great at showing how the handbags come out behind the scenes.

Are we in an era where drivers can’t race without having tons of astroturf around And on circuits where actual mistakes Are punished??
I could see tomorrows race will be 5 times interupted by crashes And red flag for everything.

I said this before, these < 30yo drivers are not used to gravel punishing their mistakes. Last year's Mugello race was a decent preview and I expect more people spinning into the barriers tomorrow. This could be one long race filled with random crashes we'd never seen on track with astroturf run-offs.

No warnings about track limits. No lap times taken away for track limits.

Track takes care of track limit infractions.

I’m loving this

Perez starting behind might be a issue for strategy, if the other Mercedes doesn't make a bonehead move at the start they'll tell him to keep close and allow the upper hand
